Hi everyone! Today I’m super excited to announce that after many months of hard work and sweat, my latest book 10 Rules of Super Productive People is finally out! :D If you want to know how to be more productive, how to stop procrastinating, and how to do more in less time, this is THE book for you!
My Latest Book: 10 Rules of Super Productive People
10 Rules of Super Productive People is about the 10 underlying tenets of productivity that differentiate the super productive people from less productive people. If you apply the principles in the book to a tee, I guarantee you that you will increase your productivity at least 10- to 20-fold, if not more.
At 259 pages long, I consider this to be anyone’s one-stop manual to achieve super productivity:
- High-level productivity strategies. Many productivity blogs and books talk about productivity “hacks” like installing website blockers, using color-coded USB cables, and timing yourself with alarm clocks. While useful, these are low-level “hacks” to create a minute change in your productivity — not changes that will dramatically transform your life. What you need to make a monumental change in your life isn’t low-level tips, but high-level productivity strategies. I’ve filled Super Productive People with transformational high-level strategies in productivity that will make permanent and deep-rooted changes not just in your productivity, but also your life.
- Practical how-to’s and advice. From relatable examples, to practical tips, to step-by-step exercises, this book is chock full of tips that anyone, from a college student, to a corporate executive, to an aspiring entrepreneur, to a grandma can immediately apply. I’ve written this book to be easily understandable, practical, and transformational at the same time.
- The result of years of personal development. Having been a Dean’s Lister, the top Marketing student in NUS Business School (one of the top business schools in Asia Pacific), a corporate employee in a Fortune 100 firm, a multi-tasking business owner, the owner of one of the top personal development blogs in the world, and one of the Top 30 Coaches in the World who has coached many to greater success, I’ve learned much about productivity in my life. This book packs my best advice on personal productivity so that you can achieve similar (if not greater) results for yourself.
- Applicable for everyone. Whether you are a business owner, a corporate employee, a busy parent, an aspiring entrepreneur, or a student who wishes to get more out of your days, there’s something in this book for you. Likewise, regardless of whether you are a heavy procrastinator or a high-speed multi-tasker, there’s something for you here too. This book is about the universal principles of productivity that anyone can apply at any stage of their life to supercharge their productivity. No matter how productive you are already, there is always room to be better and to supercharge your life.
- Timeless advice. As with my articles at PE, I’ve written this book to be timeless. This means that no matter when you are reading this — be it now, five years later, or 20 years later — or which phase of life you’re in, the advice will still apply. On the contrary, while books on “How to use MS OneNote” and “How to Use OmniFocus” (a Mac software) may help you in your productivity today, the lessons quickly become obsolete since technology and software are ever-changing in today’s world.
Don’t just take my word for it — check out this feedback that PE reader, Lizette, sent me just two days after buying the book:
“I bought your book the day before yesterday and feedback as follows: It is probably the best productivity book I’ve read. I found that I was already implementing some of the chapters (as I have been focusing on being more productive anyway) but there were several chapters that I could use to make dramatic changes right away — the one that was the most relevant for me was the section covering using time pockets more effectively.
When I realized (from reading your book) JUST HOW MUCH time is available in pockets, I realized that I can actually get my long-term, Quadrant 2 goals done WITHOUT losing focus on my current job (software development) and priorities. By breaking down my Quadrant 2 goals into small bite-sized tasks, it has become absolutely perfect for time pockets. In fact, I sat in a meeting for my day job, where I was a required attendee, but only necessary for participation for about five mins (isn’t that the corporate world for you!). I used this time to work on the spreadsheet for one of my Quadrant 2 goals. It was magic. I will now finish all this work in under 10 days now without impacting my number one priority at the moment which is software development!
Then I also took to heart a number of other chapters such as the one about sorting out a daily routine that keeps one energized – I have been very patchy about doing this in the past. It is amazing how just quantifying this as a specific activity for productivity, allows me to gain clarity in this regard.“

As far as I’m concerned, this is the only book I’m ever going to write on productivity — at the very least, for the next five years. I’ve written everything I have to offer on productivity in Super Productive People, and it’s the one-stop manual you will ever need to achieve ultimate productivity. If you can master the 10 rules I share in this book, then congratulations — you’ve become the productivity master!
This book is yours for an amazing price of only $22.90. That’s barely the price of a meal for one in New York City (or most modern cities for that matter)! A small investment not more than a regular meal price, for a lifetime of change in your productivity. I know that the book speaks for itself, so I’m not going to say more here — rather, I encourage you to get the book, read it for yourself, apply the principles, and see your productivity soar in a matter of weeks.
Hurry, get your copy, and download it within the next two minutes! Readers who have bought their copy have already experienced shifts from as fast as just reading the first chapter:
I just got through the first chapter about goal-setting, and holy crap did it have an impact on me. I’m not sure why this passage affected me as it did, as I’ve read plenty of goal-setting material before (both from you and from others), but for some reason it just made me get really excited. I haven’t been setting too many goals recently (unless you count budgeting my income xD), and I think that’s one of the things that have been indirectly getting to me recently — I’ve felt rather lost despite my new job, and I think it’s at least in part to not being too in tune with myself. So, thank you for giving me the inspiration to get back to focusing on what’s best for me.
~ PE reader, Calae from United States
And here’s another feedback from reader Victor who just finished the book:
This book is really the best investment with timeless and high impact tips and advice. Here are the top results I’ve gained (and was surprised by) after applying some principles in the book:
1) A lot of my work has now been accomplished — To the extent that most of my tasks is on or if not ahead of schedule
2) Achieved step-by-step clarity in achieving my end vision for my goals — This is important as I’m a perfectionist and someone who tries to do everything himself, so I tend to get overwhelmed by my tasks.
3) Acquired a lot of new knowledge — By applying one of the tips to listen to audio books while doing low-level tasks etc.)
4) Allowed me to gain rest at the same time — Via 30 mins deep rest during lunch to maintain my energy in the day as suggested in the bookBefore, I used to be totally drained of energy and grumpy and frustrated at the end of the day, causing negative impact to my family and friends as they tend to be victims to my complaints. Now, I’m surprised that I’ve been able to maintain a high energy AND breeze through my daily schedule/to-dos! My friends even thought that I’m crazy after seeing the change. This is amazing.
So, thank you Celes for your tips and experience sharing in this book. It has really delivered upon the promise you made that if we read and apply the principles outlined inside, we’ll surely see the changes in our productivity. You have truly gone through a lot to have written this book. Really appreciate it. :)~ Victor Hin, Brunei

Celes, I’m unable to download the book after making my payment. :(
Hi David, thank you so much for your purchase and support!! Can you contact the support email (which should be provided in your confirmation / payment receipt)? As Lifehack is the publisher in charge of the distribution and sales, I’m not able to advise on this. Do let me know if you aren’t able to reach them and get resolution; I’ll help to follow up if needed.
Emailed to Lifehack support with my payment receipt last week. Till now, no news from them. :(
Hey David! I’ve emailed the Lifehack admin to advise on who/how you should contact for this issue, I’ll update you here once I get their response!
Hey David! Just to let you know that I’m still following up on the issue — I don’t know why the team is taking a while to respond to me, but I’ll be here to help where I can. Can you forward me your payment receipt and the email that you sent to Lifehack support @ orders@personalexcellence.co?
Hi Celes,
Congratulations on publishing your new book. I can’t wait to read it and to try and put the ideas into practice, especially as I bought it whilst procrastinating instead of doing my work! Good to know I can add it to my Kindle too.
Best wishes,
Janey
Dearest Janey, thanks so much for your support! :D Great to know that you can use the book on your Kindle — will be definitely useful to read the book during time pockets (a concept I mention in Rule #8). The book will definitely be handy to addressing procrastination and getting more things done in less time. :D
I bought your book! At first I thought “not another book on productivity”, but I wanted to read your advice on productivity as well as supporting your work. I copied the file to my Kindle and it is perfectly readable! Now to read it and apply each principle – maybe one new principle each day? Well done on publishing your book!
Thanks so much for your support Charles, I really appreciate it! :D I didn’t know that Kindle allows for importing of pdfs, so it’s awesome to know that it scales well into the Kindle medium!
PS: One principle a week sounds like it’ll be a better pace, especially because the principles tackle pretty deep areas of productivity and take time to properly implement.
Thanks for the advice about the pacing. I decided to print the PDF and seeing the depth of content and scope of your writing I can see that one chapter a week will work best. I have decided to read a chapter each week on Thursday and Friday and put it into practice at the office and at home, then the first few days of the following week I can be integrating the new principle into my “routine”.
HI,
Is your book available for Kindle ?? :)
Hey Rainbow! :) My publisher and I have designated this to be a PDF e-book for now since it can be transferred for usage across multiple platforms — iPad, mobile, desktop, etc. — easily. :) There’s no Kindle format but this isn’t an issue since the PDF e-book scales nicely to be read in any device. :)
I’ll definitely pitch the idea of a Kindle format to my publisher to see what they think but it won’t be in the near future for sure. Let me know your thoughts and if you have further questions! :)
Thanks Charles and Celes ! I’ve not yet bought a PDF book for the Kindle as I hadn’t realised you could do that – but I will do now :) Looking forward to reading it
The PDF displays well on a Kindle.
Thanks for letting us know, Charles! :) Looks like the PDF can be imported fine into Kindle, so there’s probably no need for a Kindle-specific version!
I just bought it and am starting reading it!
That’s awesome Lizette, thanks so much for your support!! :D Would love to hear your thoughts after you are done with the book! :D
Where’s the link to purchase?
Hi Eugene, refer to the end of the post — it’s up for sale at the Lifehack Book Store, and the link is there!
Done, cant wait to read it
That is awesome, thanks for your support Ganesh and remember to apply the rules as you go along in the book! :) There are exercises at the end of each chapter/rule for immediate self-reflection and application so that you integrate the lessons right away.
Congratulations, Celes! I’ve bought a copy and will definitely get to reading it later. I’m very tempted to start it now, but it would be a bit contradictory to procrastinate on my work by reading a book on productivity ;)
Thank you so much for your support Sarah!! :) Yes, that’d be definitely contradictory, and you are already acting in the ways of a super productive person by prioritizing on your must-do’s first. :)
Saw your signup for the affirmation challenge; look forward to working with you in this new challenge!! :D
Congrats on the book, Celes! How exciting! Lifehack is another site I love to frequent besides yours. xD I’ll probably pick up the book later this week after pay day, because the offer is just too good to pass up! Can’t wait to get started. =)
Thank you so much for your support Calae! :D I spent many weeks and months in my writing dungeons writing this book, so I’m just so happy that it’s out — and really overall very proud of what I’ve accomplished with this book (i.e. making it a one-stop productivity manual). The price is a real steal too — my publisher originally suggested to retail it at a higher price for the value that it offers, but then I proposed a lower price point to make it more affordable for college students too, who is another group of people who can really benefit from this.
Let me know when you’ve picked up your copy and if you have any questions about the content; I’d be really excited to hear your thoughts! :D
Thanks, Celes! I just downloaded my copy and read the introduction now, and I’m really excited to get started! I’ll certainly let you know my questions/comments if/when I get them! =)
That is fabulous, Calae! :D You made me so excited as well reading your comment; it reminds me that every drop of sweat and every second of my time I’ve invested into writing this book and making this the best productivity book I can ever write was all worth it! I find Oprah’s example incredibly inspiring (how she simply set that intent to be the world’s richest woman and made it happen), and it reminds us the importance of constantly projecting our inner visions — and more importantly, being resolute in them — to make our ideal life a reality!
I think it’s a great example as well! It’s one I have a hard time emulating, unfortunately; I can’t seem to set goals unless they’re very realistic. I’m so accustomed to fear-based logic that I would never be able to get behind, say, the idea that I could be a billionaire by age 32. I know it holds me back, because essentially I’m telling myself, “don’t try, ’cause it won’t work out anyway,” but man is it engraved in my brain! Even thinking of my life, I found myself working only within my current circumstances because everyone I’ve ever known would pretty much tell me I’d be nuts to (hypothetically speaking) leave my job and create my own business.
A big priority for me right now is learning to trust and believe in myself — do you think that this is enough for me to eventually reach the point where I can strive for goals much bigger than “realistic” ones? I guess what I’m asking is, do you have any advice for someone who, when they’re asked “what would you do if there were no limits and you had unlimited resources?” can only think of “safe” things because it’s just so beyond their comprehension?
Sorry, this question came out of nowhere but it has been bothering me as I’ve been trying to think of some great life goals! My difficulty in being able to dream big and my uncertainty in what I “truly” want to do are certainly troublesome things for me at the moment, though at least with the latter I feel like I’m getting closer to something!
Maybe it would calm the realist in you if you saved up some money so you could take a year or two off work? It’s probably quite easy to get back in a job if you’ve got experience, so the realist needn’t worry “What if the business doesn’t pick up?”
Then you would have plenty of time and energy to focus fully on the goal. And it will probably give you lots of insight into what you like because you can actually try things out :)
(All this is assuming that your job pays enough to put some aside. Not sure if this applies to you!)
Thanks for the idea! I’m fortunate enough to be able to save some money each month — could be worth looking into, it’ll just take me a while to save enough to try it! xD
Hey Calae, that’s a totally valid question! You have rightly mentioned that the thing that’s holding you back is fear-based logic — and I’ve found that the easiest way to break through fear is to use fear itself.
A reverse-type of question that still achieves the same outcome will be, “What would you NOT want to be 10 years from today?” (10 years can be replaced with 5 years, 20 years, 30 years, or however many years you want.) And you may find yourself thinking, “I DON’T want to be doing X, working in Y job, stuck with Z problems, hanging out with ABC people” and the like. Using this kind of questioning will help you to identify what you DON’T want, which will help you to create a path away from it… and it’ll reach a point where you’re empowered enough to start thinking, “What will I want to do if there are no limits and I have unlimited resources?” (Notice I’m using the present tense too, because having no limits and unlimited resources are part of abundant thinking rather than hypothetical considerations.)
I totally recommend you to check out the decision-making guide for breaking out of dilemmas / making life-changing decisions (the above is based on method #1): https://personalexcellence.co/blog/decision-making/
Thanks so much, Celes! I’ll definitely check out the article as well. I love the idea of using fear against itself, what an awesome idea!
hi celes just bought ur book now starting reading it wooo hoooo ~ thanks celes
Fabulous Victor! Thanks so much for your support! :D Let me know your progress through the book and if you have any questions about the principles I share inside! :)
Good morning Celes and everbody
lately this few weeks it has been a roller
coaster but i finally able to finish this e book. this book really
deliver the promise that Celes made if we read and apply whatever offer
in this book as mention in above blog
here i will share the top 3 principles that i have attempted and surprised with the result
1 Master time pocket
– this principle really give the greatest impact as taking note of possible time pocket
and making used of it help :
a) a lot of my work done (to the extent most of my tasks is on or if not ahead of schedule)
b) acquire a lot of knowledge( following advice in the ebook, using
audible to listen to books while doing low level mental task and etc )
c) allow me to rest ( 30 mins deep rest during lunch maintain my energy throughout the day)
2 Set timeline
– i admit that i am a perfectionist and i am sort of “one man accounts
department” so i tend to get stress and feeling overwhelming with my
tasks. although i still testing this principle and i cant tell much
about this. however with this principle and tips provide in this book
does give me clarity step by step in achieving the end result envision
so far
3 Create your productivity ritual
– for this my ritual is used to be like the person in the 1st example used in
illustrated in this principle. so by the end of the day, i am 200%
energy drain and feeling grumpy and frustrated and this cause negative
impact to my family and friends as they tend to be victim to my
complains
– after trying this principle for few days, to my
surprised enable me to maintain my energy and my schedule seem like a
breeze with less frustration. my friends think i am “sot” or crazy with
this change. nonetheless this is amazing
in short , this is really best investment with timeless and high impact tips advice.
thank you Celes for your contribution not only in this book and your useful
previous experience in this book. this really prove you have gone
through a lot to come out with this book. really appreciated. :)
