Hi everyone – Welcome to Day 12 of 21DJC! :)

Yesterday’s question was: “Out of Your 5 Senses, Which is the Most Important to You, and Why?“. (Read the responses.)

The intention of yesterday’s question is to make us appreciate our 5 senses. Which is the most important sense to us? What would happen if we lose that sense? How would our experience of life change?

The reason why I asked yesterday’s question is because one of my teachers posed the question to the class when I was in primary school.

I remember feeling struck when I first heard the question. “What would happen if I were to lose one of my senses?“, I thought. I would be devastated, for sure. These 5 senses, which I had taken for granted, have been monumental in creating my life experience. Without any of them, I couldn’t imagine how life would be like.

There is no right or wrong answer – each answer depicts what is the most important sense to you. Interesting, your answer suggests whether you’re more of a visual person, an audio person, a sensorial person, a person who values smells, or a person who values taste.

Hopefully, from answering the question, you became aware of the importance of all your 5 senses, and the role they play in your life. From reading your answers, and how many of you expressed gratitude for the senses that you often take for granted, it would definitely seem that has been achieved.

For me, the most important sense to me… I would say it’s sight. I can’t imagine living a life of darkness. I’m a visual person – it’s what I notice at the beginning; it’s the first thing I remember about events and scenes.

That said, the sense of smell is important to me too, as is the sense of hearing, taste, or touch. It’s definitely a challenge having to pick one sense over another, so let’s make sure we never run into the situation where we have to do that, shall we? Let’s treasure our 5 senses and care for them duly.

Let’s protect our eyesight by only reading when the room is well lit, taking a quick break every once in a while when using the computer, and not forcing ourselves to wear contact lens when our eyes are tired (for contact lens users).

Let’s protect our hearing by not blasting our music at full volume and listening to it at a moderate level. Let’s also protect it by staying away from places with noise pollution, such as booming clubs, places with loud traffic, and so on.

Let’s care for our nose by not picking at it constantly, not sniffing at uninviting smells, not blowing it hard when we have the flu, and not stuffing things up our nostrils.

Let’s care for our skin by washing it regularly, not coming into contact with extreme temperatures (hot or cold), using mittens when removing items from the microwave/oven, using gloves when doing dish washing, wearing gloves and socks when we feel cold, and keep ourselves well covered during the winter times.

Let’s care for our taste buds by not taking spices we are not accustomed to, not smoking, not consuming food that has expired or gone bad, and not consuming food high in preservatives, because they may well desensitize our taste buds.

With that said, let’s now move to today’s question!

21DJC Day 12

Today’s question is sort of a precursor to our highly anticipated, upcoming Live a Better Life in 30 Days Challenge for Dec 2011. Today’s question is:

What Are Your Biggest Goals for the Next Few Years?

Back view of two girls, in the field

What do you envision achieving in the next few years? What do you most want to see happen? What are the goals and dreams you want to see unfold?

We will be working on our ideal life, our life goals, life map and vision board in detail during 30DLBL next month, so take this as a preliminary outlet to think over your goals in the next few years.

(Today’s question can be found in #28 of 101 Important Questions To Ask Yourself In Life.)

Your Task Today:

  1. Reflect and answer today’s question. There’s no word limit – whether minimum or maximum. Write as few or as many words as you want. It’s all up to what you want to express!
  2. Share your answer. After you are done writing, copy and paste your answer in the comments area and post it there.
  3. Check out other participants’ answers. Other participants will be sharing their answers too, so feel free to read and reply to their answers. This is a group course, so let’s support each other in these 21 days.
Look forward to reading your answers! :D

I have set my goals in categories. These are healthy, spiritual, family, finance, social and educational categories.I start with health and my goals are to keep and maintain a regular regime of exercise to attain a physical fitness of a young male who is half my age and in good shape. I then set a goal to
eat healthy and nutritional diet regularly.
Spiritually, i have set a goal to observe my religious beliefs, give more devotion towards my creator and give time and funds towards godly causes.
When it comes to family, i set myself a goal to spend more valuable and quality time with my wife and children. This involves more social activities with them and many more. We also get to read and grow together as we sit to discuss what we have each read and how it will make or improve the quality of life
    we all want to lead.
As for the finance category, being an employee at the moment, i have set myself a goal to replace and keep doubling my income from the job i am doing now, by working for myself doing what i love most.
This meaning that i set to find a way to earn a living by teaching other people how to better their lives to
    full potential.
My social goals are simply to spend more time with people i love mostly, family and friends especially those that i get a chance to learn from, life enhancing lessons. Every activity i get involved in with these people is a teacher to the betterment of myself, be it playing games, touring places and many more.
Last but not least, i have set educational goals where by i associate with people that have and do what
i admire most in life just as i am involved in this challenge to learn and grow. In addition, i make sure that i read self empowering and positive literature daily. I also listen to positive audio material from people that have or are walking the path i chose to take, to improve me to be the best i can possibly be.These are my goals in life that i am on the path to achieve in next 3 to 5 for years.

  2. I have several goals that I need to accomplish and several that I want to accomplish. I will start with the ones that need attention now and need to be worked toward now and ones that I can work for at a steady pace.
I have fines I am paying on to get my license back. It’s taking some time but if I keep up with a steady payment arrangement, I can achieve this goal.
Next of course is the goal to purchase myself a vehicle. When I lost my license, it was for a period of time, so i sold my car because I did not see the point in maintaining a vehicle I could not use. It also removed the temptation to drive illegally.
Once I achieve these two immediate goals, I have other’s that will fall into place with some hard work.
I have my goals set to find a better job in the near future, one that i don’t just go to so I can pay the bills, but one where I enjoy the work I am doing.
My ultimate pay off goals are to be financially comfortable, maintain my children a nice amount of savings for when they are older, to maintain a healthier lifestyle physically and spiritually. The most important goal to me to reach and maintain is simply to work everyday to become a better person, maintain a healthy and comfortable lifestyle, to enjoy and embrace all experiences, to work with my children to help them set and maintain goals because my children will follow the example I set.
I will be 35 on Tuesday. I have reached a point in my life now where I have experienced the good in life and the bad. I have lived a life of today and not tomorrow which has at times been wonderful while it has cost me a stability I now desire. I am at a point where things of the past must be left there and I want to settle into a nice, comfortable life with my partner and my children and enjoy what each day holds without having to worry about the stress of fixing everything I made hard for myself by the lifestyle I chose. I know I will accomplish anything I set my mind to do.

  3. My main goal for the next few years is to carry on deepening and strengthening the love and friendship that I am finally (thank goodness) feeling for myself after all these years. This will mean that I can happily, and with my head held high, do more of what I love without feeling guilty and wrong. Whoopee!

I shall: write articles/blog/journal more, deepen my tarot and shamanic work, continue making lists (I love list making), see more of my children (they all live away from home now), watch Judge Judy on the TV freely and with no guilt, continue bird watching with a passion even though I always forget their names, maybe enroll on a Masters Degree (scary, but I’d love to do this), volunteer, and generally be appreciative of my life and appreciative of all beings. Can’t wait!

  4. I’ve been spending a lot of time over the past few years on transformation by reading and developing skills but it’s time to take the transformation from the theoretical to the practical, so my main goal is this: I will create a new career for myself. It will be part time at first, but will become my full time employment.

I will also develop my social life, in particular finding a serious girlfriend with the potential for marriage. I also want to cultivate other friendships with other ‘growing’ people.

I am good about exercise, but will improve my diet, cutting back on the meats and sweets.

  5. My biggest goals for the next few years are to:

Sell my small farm with custom home in central Missouri,
    Move to a warmer clime,
Finish writing and publish the 40 some-odd books that I’ve started,
Market those books via the internet and write some more.

    This will be my legacy.

  6. My biggest goals for the next few years:
    1. free from the obligation to work in a company
    2. I own at least one business that in line with my purpose, passion of life.

  7. Karman Warner 14 years ago

My biggest goal for the next few years is to finish my Master’s Degree and open a business of my own in the Life Coaching Area of Expertise with a particularly interesting twist that most psychologists say does no good, however, I have seen/felt/understood the good that it does.

  8. I am very much a goal oriented, focused person so when I think of goals I can be quite direct. I am task oriented and enjoy daily setting my objectives for the day. I seldom, not always mind you, but seldom have a strict, must do at any cost type of objective list but I find when I work with an objective it keeps me on track and I don’t lose too much time in midair doing tiny bits of lots of things and leaving what I hoped to have done in the dust. It just works well for me!

In the next few years, I will use 4 years as a measure: We have a few decisions to reach on the following subjects

Get the numbers aligned for Retirement – 2015
A few new toys that I have specifically in mind
Move or stay – Make that decision !!!
New Home – Here or There!!!
EZ Livin – Motor Home – Decide Decide
    PPPPPP’s What to do best

These are the things on my agenda for the next 4 years – They are vague but they are full and complex in my world….. If in 2015 I am retired and I have made all the decisions on the subject matters above we will have accomplished a GREAT Deal!

    Smiles

  9. Sadly, I would have had a different answer had this question been asked two weeks ago. Because at present, I am in a state of a big decision is going to be made in a new few months that literally affects the next two years in such a drastic manner. So perhaps I should think about Path A and Path B. For Path A I would love to see completion and advancement in the work tasks I have been assigned to (a personal goal is to contribute significantly to something larger than myself, using my intellectual gifts as problem solver.) I just started a new job and I have yet to deliver, but my deliverables are not needed til 2013 and 2014 so I do have some time. I am just doing the research now. It is a task I have never done before so I don’t yet know how to accomplish it, but I do wish to complete the task with flying colours, new found-learning, and new skills. I would very much like to see my dad retire this year and he and my mum enjoy time together. Right now he works so much, and he turns 70 this year, and he always talks about retirement, but he never does it. But I also know that I cannot direct his life, I just desire him to enjoy it more and not be so tired all the time. My primary goal in life is to be an astronaut and an opportunity just came out so I would love to be selected next year. I will be putting in my application. For Path B, I would love to see a mature and sensible resignation from my current assignment without burning bridges and an establishment of new tasks that fuels my passion of space. This will be a challenge since Plan B has us moving to another country where I am not a citizen, and for that, limits my opportunities for a few years. It is important for me to live my passion and I live my passion right now every day, but Plan B has me voluntarily giving up my passion. And yet, Plan B allows my husband to live his passion. Right now in Plan A, he is not living his passion. So it’s a hard choice for me. But I also feel it is time for my husband to be living his passion and I will find a new way somehow. And wherever I look there is loads of advice to make a choice to go change your life to live you passion since life is short, etc. whereas there is nothing out there to address the opposite, why would someone give up living one’s passion to face a life without it? So that leads me to a place where it’s been very challenging to truly set my goals since the paths are so different. Then again, that would only be the work goals. But my work is very special to me since it is my passion. For my personal goals, which would be available in either path: to maintain my weight and health (just I like I have done these past few years), get onto a more regular sleeping cycle, get more exercise (I get about an 1 hr each day, would like to find an extra hour), embrace a new hobby (needing a bit more spice in my life right now), and tick off a few of my “to do before I die list” (one is about to happen in feb, which I am every so excited). I cannot wait til I have this decision which is before me now, settled, and I know what path I will be one, so I can hone on those goals appropriate for that path. I am a person who loves to plan and lives that plan. So goals are the essence of my approach to life.

  10. 1) Career / Passion
In the next few years, i would like to work with children with special needs. To help them have the opportunity to integrate, develop themselves as ‘normal’ as possible, and live their best life. To do that, I need to develop my skills in that area. I hope to do well in my adv diploma in special needs education, while working at an early intervention centre for children.

I also think I would like to pursue further studies in educational psychology, as well as play and art therapy as a means to help children with special needs. This is a group that is often neglected, treatment is expensive, parents can be upset worn-down and at a loss. It’s my passion to have the skills to be able to properly help this group, because I believe everyone should have the chance to grow and live a better life. :)

    2) Love
On the personal life front, I want to get married to my best friend in the world – my boyfriend of 5 years so far. He’s been my confidant, pillar of strength, and we help each other grow.. I feel like we love each other more and more. Im so thankful that we met.

    3) Family and Friends
As for relationships with my family, I want to get my parents to respect and be proud of me for the career direction i’ve chosen, even though they are skeptical about it, and think the best field to be in is the financial industry like themselves. I want to develop a less fearful /judgemental relationship with my father, and a more trusting relationship with them and my step-siblings. As for my sister, I hope our close relationship will be even closer… that it will withstand challenges and grow stronger.

I want my family to fit into my life with my boyfriend, to cultivate loving relationships all round. Im quite happy with my friends so far, but hope to maintain my current close friendships even as we pursue different things in life… while making new friends in my life. Especially those that are in the special needs field.

As for health. Since starting a new skin care regime this year, my complexion has improved so that has made me feel better about myself. I hope to get my grooming stuff all done, and have the motivation to keep up with my pilates classes. (not doing so good on that front). Need to really set aside time and gather my determination together to go. I also want to drink 8 glasses of water a day, something im STILL not doing :S as often with work and rushing around, I cant seem to find the time to drink and even visit the loo!

    4) Mindfulness
I need to be more mindful as well, mindful to drink 8 glasses, mindful to watch my health and go for my pilates class. not just rush through daily routines. One of my goals will be to cultivate mindfulness. How to do that? probably meditation will help, to clear the mind and make it more alert.

Such a long list! tts it for now :)

    1. Sail around the world on a 4 month student study program in January (no more stalling)
    2. Enter and take a title in a national (small) beauty pageant, with Tahitian dance as my talent.
    3. Graduate from law school
    4. Pass the Bar exam
    5. Publish my current book as an eBook (The book is written and for sale but I want it to sell as a Kindle – I have been stalling on he process)
    6. Finish my novel based on a screenplay I have written (half way there on the novel)
    7. Publish my novel as a Kindle/eBook
    8. Rewrite my award winning screenplay with the a new perspective based on my novel
    9. Feel the glorious burn of the accomplishment of MY personal goals

  12. Here are my biggest goals for the next few yrs:

    1) My husband and I have been in the US for some time. We are settling back to my country of origin, Singapore, next year. My most immediate goal is for us to get well-paying and fulfilling jobs in the pharmaceutical (his) and journalism (mine) fields there.

    2) To set up a family. It feels like now is the right the time for us to welcome a new member into our tiny family :)

    3) Becoming a runner, and running at least a marathon a year. The moment I laid hands on my first Runner’s World magazine 8 years ago, I fell in love with running. But I have yet to follow any sustained running routine ( totally my fault- procastinating :( ). My immediate goal next year is to change that by joining a running club.

    4) Build up cosy savings & retirement accounts. We are just in our early 30s, so its best to start now.

  13. Stella Zorro 14 years ago

To get out of my own way and transcend all this baggage I’ve been carrying around forever…find my purpose…get my life back…rehab my student loan and get my degree…become financially independent…get my kids through school and give them the skills they need to succeed…help others anytime I can…own my own home…write more…make new friends…hopefully, get my smile back.

  14. Biggest goals in the next few years
    – achieving financial freedom which will allows me to achieve other goals
    – achieve my ideal weight

Thats all. I do not ask for much!!!

  15. My Biggest Goals for the next few years:

I have no grand goals of sweeping major accomplishments right now.

    My goals are simple goals.

To live a balanced healthy lifestyle – Eat well, and exercise, lose some more weight and put on more muscle.

To spend time with my family, sharing good times and love with them.

The key here is to appreciate and enjoy life, every day. – not some day later, but Today – everyday

I am at an age where I have experienced more than a few decades that , in retrospect, have swept by quickly – and even if I am lucky I may have only a couple or so decades left to go here – and the reality is we never know when our time is up, until it is – so best to make the most of it.

I plan to take some small trips around the US – my bucket list is not real long – but I will be working on it.

I am going to write a novel.

I am going to record a CD with my son and we will self publish it.

While it is not so much a goal now – it may become one if other circumstances evolve in this direction: I will build a house near the water and move there and go sailing a lot – this goal is about 6 years out.

But meanwhile – I plan to live everyday for today and not let the time slip away unappreciated. I will not be looking forward so intently that I miss the beauty of now.

    Barry

  16. What Are Your Biggest Goals for the Next Few Years?

    1. Raise my consciousness
    2. Become self-reliant
    3. Search for a career/job I love

  17. The next few years to me are like the epitome of shaping my life…… though for the expected change i am already working and would continue working over the time and definitely even after I’d have achieved my goals. but as I’ve stressed before, Change is not a 100m sprint but a full marathon….
So I’d list my goals as follows….
Perfect a sound body shape and both from inside and outside, as a sound body, leads to a sound mind….
Achieve fully independent self. as being dependent on someone leads to expectations which tumult relationships
I know I have some unearthed potential, the aroma of the crude and benign talents leak at times out of me but sometimes i don’t have the mind capital to fully exploit this…..In the sense of counselling others or maybe planning out events…..something creative and innovative….i wish to drill out and use this potential that i have
Other fringe goals that i hope to achieve would be to grace my personality and make myself more elegant and feminine, also probably further improve my spoken English…..and really make the most out of life opportunities

  18. Few years ago, I had some goals that I wanted to achieve but unfortunately not everything went into plans.

Feel like there’s always a missing puzzle somewhere… once one is fixed, there’s something else will stop me doing things I wanna do!

I won’t say that I am not happy with what has gone thru, experience of life and ups & downs..

So i have not really set a goal in next few years… taking it easy and taking day by day at this stage..

May be travel around the world – that’s what I always wanted to do.

    • Find a way around to reach your goals!! Don´t give up, nothing is imposible even if things go wrong.
Find something you love and go for it! The journey is hard, but always worth it.

  19. My top goals for the next few years are:

-graduate with a civil engineering degree
-reach and maintain my ideal physical fitness
-transfer to a healthy and vitamin packed diet
-improve my relationship with my family and friends.
-meet new people and become more confident socially

  20. This are my goals for the next few years:
1 – Get vey good grades in my two college degrees, psychology and criminology. I hope I can get a scholarship next year so that my parents don´t have to pay so much money for my college education. To be able to do that I need a 10/10 because due to the econmic crisis, they are giving less scholarships. This is my most important goal without a doubt.

2 – Get fit. I´m currently doing some exercise, but not as much as I would like. I want to run a marathon in the next few years.

3 – Get a job. Right now is hard because I´m studying two careers, I´m in an investigation group and I´m also doing some volunteer work. I don´t really have time for a job. But I´ll figure something out. I could definetely use some extra money to get, among other things, the 30DLBL woorkbook and guidebook :)

4 – Learn, learn and learn. I want to make the world a better place because I lived in it, and to do that I want to be the best in my field

5 – Make long-term friends, make friends who enjoy the same things I do, who are a positive influence.

6 – Spend quality time with my parents, do something special for them.

7 – Continue to grow as a person.

I have many other goals, but those are the most important for me right now.

  21. What Are Your Biggest Goals for the Next Few Years?

Continue to be a loving Father and help my children:
    i. Build a professional career that they enjoy.
ii. Build a good financial base knowing how to budget, save and accumulate riches.
iii. Express themselves so they can understand and communicate effectively with people from all walks of life.
iv. Know that knowledge is a skill and to achieve their goals they need to learn different skills.
    v. Expose them to experiences which will help them reach their goals.

For my wife continue to be loving supportive and appreciative of all the things we have and do together. Assist her in reaching her goals.

    For myself:
    i. Actively pursue self knowledge through blogs, books, discussion and any other means.
ii. Increase my passive income through investing my money wisely, making iphone apps, writing beautiful informative inspirational and instructive books.
iii. Help people and contribute to society.

Every minute you spend in your life is either spent bringing you closer to your goals or moving you away from your goals.

  22. My goals for the next year is;

    1. Lose 56 pounds
    2. Start school and keep a 4.0 average
    3. Pay off debt/ save
    4. Move to different city for school
    5. Improve communication skills
    6. Start to cook healthy meals
    7. Start Yoga; work up to inverted poses
    8. Start Belly dancing
    9. Strength train
    10. Start Photography
    11. Start to watercolor
    12. Make a complete wardrobe
    13. Start a blog

    • My goals for the following 4 years is to;

      1. Finish my BS in Computer science
      2. Improve my French
      3. Start a Japanese martial art
      4. Learn how to play the violin
      5. Read 1 book every 1-2 weeks

  23. My big goals for the next few years. I am going to learn Greek. Finish my Science degree and be a year into the Physical Therapy Assistant degree. Lose about forty pounds this is more of a short term goal. I am going to learn to play the Acoustic Guitar, learn to Belly Dance, and work on learning more about how to blog. Another goal of mine is to actually have a few gigs playing guitar and singing somewhere. Tomorrow I start my first Belly Dancing class. It is the beginning of the rest of my life. Also goals to work on with my son teaching Greek as I learn it, and him learning his ABC’s and numbers. I don’t know that is it for now. I have really expanded on my goals this year. I guess I just started thinking more of what kind of things I want to do. Actually never thought of learning how to Belly Dance before but I want to try it out. An old friend of mine has done it and liked it. I was going through the paper recently and it said belly dancing helps tone and bring your sexy back. It sounds like fun so I am going to do it. I thought it my help my dance skills out some. This is just the beginning after these goals I will move to new ones. I am even thinking of having another baby soon.

  24. Alban Brice 14 years ago

For the next years, here are my top 3 goals:
    1-get married
    2-quit my 7am-6pm job
3-pursue my passion and be my own boss

  25. I am not going to have big big giant goals. As a student, my goals obviously have something do to with my student life.

First of all, I want to get an intership in a magazine or a radio station.

Secondly, I want to graduate successfully and land myself a good job, something I like and can also feed me and my family.

Third, I want to make more friends!!! Extremely important to me, because I really want to expand my social circle.

Last but not least, I want to take additional courses and read more books to better prepare myself and upgrade myself.

  26. My biggest goals are to develop my skills as an artist, as a martial artist, to develop as a person and get through my next few years through college. Over the course of a year and a few months I’ve started drawing and began to appreciate the ability to draw that i used to envy in others. I can’t say I’m not surprised that I would get here because i continued to believe i would progress but sometimes it surprises me what would happen if i hadn’t take this path. Every day I make sure I do a sketch, sometimes make the sketches a bit detailed, add a little color and post in on a popular art site. Because i’ve received so much encouragement and growth from the people i met i can feel confident knowing i will see learning to be a better artist as one of my biggest goals for the next few years.
The same can be said for my goal as a martial artist. I’ve been practicing for the last three years ever since i started college and i’m surprised at the progress i’ve made. I didn’t think I would be able to be this fit and my movement feels a lot easier and i’ve started to feel my techniques becoming more incorporated into my movement. Saturday will be my very first tae kwon do tournament and while i am nervous I’m very excited that everything i’ve been working towards has led me to this point and this will be a cornerstone in my life as well as a huge milestone. i used to think i wanted to strive to black belt but over time getting belts stopped being important to me. Granted they make lovely milestones but I can’t presume that just because i’m this rank or that belt that I am as good as I should be. Seeing so many people do things I can only dream of I know I have a long ways to go so I know that I can only practice and improve my techniques and let it become a part of who I am.
Right now I’m in a junior college but I know that i want to transfer to a four year to take a journalism major. Its a bit of a far away possibility as of now but I do like being able to write and research and learn new topics and as a journalist I am able to do those things. However even before I start my major I realize I have to take care of my classes and I’ve seen that I don’t have to rush to getting to my major right away. There are a lot of classes that appeal to me and I’d like to pursue them. Next semester I’d like to try swimming and art classes along with other classes for my General Education credits. I know that I will have to pursue my major but until then I’d like to enjoy classes I can benefit and grow from.
These are some goals that I have and I think i can focus my life on these goals for now and seem them come to fruition and in the end I would be able to harvest the fruits of my labor of love ;)

    • I have been sketching some. What popular art site do you submit your work too? My dad was an architect and I have thought of following in his footsteps. Even though I have set my mind to pursue other things I am still interested in learning to draw and make sculptures. I would like to know the website so I may get feedback on my sketches, and art. I have been in the same boat I am finishing up a junior college degree and then moving on to another degree.

  28. What do you envision achieving in the next few years?

Confidence, egolessness, happiness, love and self-reliance

What do you most want to see happen?

I want to see a lot of things being done by me which I used to be scared of doing. I want to see the foods that are cooked by me. I want to see how much my life is in control by me. I want to see a job/career I love. I want to see the world as a wonderful place to be in.

What are the goals and dreams you want to see unfold?

    Raise my consciousness
    Take control of my life
    Find a job/career I love

  29. My goals seem to be changing. In college my goal was to be a film producer by the time I’m 40. While I would still love for that to happen, I don’t think it will. I’ve also wanted to be a mom and adopt since the 1st grade. So I suppose the best path for my future kids is to marry a guy who respects me and has a passion for life and leadership. But most importantly I need a man who inspires me to be like Christ. I hadn’t met a guy like that in college so I very rarely dated. But there is a guy now that just stuns me every time. Not that it’s my goal to marry him, but definitely to marry someone with his character.

A goal for the next few years, is to connect with people all over the world. Definitely want to make it a goal to travel to places where I can take advantage of being able to stay with friends.

    Finish a feature-length script. Sell a self-portrait as art.

Become location independent within 5-10 years, whether I’m married or not.

  30. My goals for the next few years are to become financially independent, develop a strong relationship with my partner and learn to live a healthy every day lifestyle.

Financially independent meaning to get a full-time job in my career field, move out, be able to pay for car insurance, food, utilities and other expenses with half of my salary, and to go on a 2-3 short vacations a year.

Healthy everyday lifestyle meaning to incorporate fruits, veggies and healthy foods into my everyday diet as well as regular exercise everyday.
